My First H & H Buck Bowie Knife
Limited Edition
I have lucky in my life. So lucky I have been appreciated and
around some great people who made my life better because they showed the kind
of respect, the understanding and the compassion we need to give each other in
times of need, stress or challenges.
Corrections
Officer Class #101 was one such a group in my life when they surprised me on
graduation day with a most thoughtful, wonderful gift an Academy instructor
could ever imagine.
With their kindness for taking care of them as a primary
instructor during their 10 week Corrections Academy stay they presented me with
a most wonderful gift. A sheath signed by every cadet in the class delivered to
me a 10 inch long Bowie knife like no other Bowie knife made.
They
gave me a Limited Edition Buck Knife "H.H. Buck Blacksmith Bowie Knife
with thick rosewood handle scales. Dressed with a mirror polished stainless
steel clip point bowie gold etching depicts the old west H.H. Buck Blacksmith
shop and general store.
Displaying a full tang for this limited edition Bowie Knife
with serial number #1365 out of only 1500 made is etched on the reverse of the
blade. It had a big brass double guard and handle pins. Mint condition in a
handsome wood display box lined with blue velvet includes certificate of
authenticity.
The value of the knife is around $ 395.00 but it is
priceless to me. It will stay with me till I pass it to my son who has already
asked to have it when it’s time to pass it on.
