Hope for Paws - please donate

Save a Furry Paw and donate please

On Thursday, August 10, 2017, I found two stray dogs abandoned in this pile of discarded furniture somewhere near the outer city limits known to be a drop off point for trash and animals. Abandonment of animals is cruel and unlawful but the law can't protect them when they are dumped in the middle of the night somewhere isolated like this location. I fed them on Thursday and gave them fresh water.

When I got home, a friend recommended Hope for Paws to rescue these four legged jewels. They [dogs] would not come to me and I knew that they would have to be trapped or snared in order to save them. I didn't want to starve so I kept an eye on them until the non-profit group called Hope for Paws returned my call and arranged a pick up for them.
Sadly, we lost one to a coyote who came around the shelter and attacked both of them getting away with a small grayish Scotty who fought hard to defend the other dog. He did the best he could but he lost the fight and ended up being killed.
We are now taking care of the survivor and it needs vet care and a home. These funds will be used to rebuilt this traumatized dog's life, take care of the vet bills and find a new family to live with. This pet is a gentle small Pomeranian mix and needs our help. Please donate to the cause to help her and others in her plight to survive when abandoned by unkind and cruel humans who don't regard or respect the lives of animals.
This puppy was bitten and harmed with internal injuries caused by an attack. We need to help helpless animals from harm and make an honest effort to find them a happy home to live in and become someone's life companion.
