California Sunsets
Sunsets in California are unlike many I have seen in my life as I have traveled through many countries and many states. There is something special about a California sunset that is hard to capture into words and only images can capture the picturesque scenery that will forever remain in your memory until the day you die.
The swaying palm trees set in motion a mesmerizing thought that carries with it a breeze of peaceful feelings. The palm leaves rustling in a gentle sway tell you the sun is going down but the air is pleasant to hang out in and as you settle down in the shade of the tall palm trees that give you cover from the setting sun, you can feel the ocean breeze coming inland and cooling down the heated sand on the beaches of the stretched out west coast shore.
The sky turns into a pale pinkish essence as the clouds darken from a light blue hue to a darkened blackish color telling everyone the sun will be gone in about a moment or two settling in the far west horizon starting a new day somewhere else. Green turns to black and ripples of oranges streak the skyline showing all the natural glory of earth and its beauty.
From New York to New Mexico, from Asia to the continent of Europe and from Washington state to Florida, no other image can conquer the mystic of a California sunset as we live our lives from day to day and enjoy the beauty God gave us out of his own personal coloring book blessed with many inner peaceful feelings.
